LADBROKES POKER MILLIONS VI
$25,000 buy-in
July 25th - Aug 3rd
Sky Studios, Middlesex

The Ladbrokes Poker Millions event is in its 6th year and kicks off a good run of European poker events.  The Poker Millions is touted as Europe’s richest and most prestigious live televised poker tournament, and really is a unique format.  Like the name says, it carries a million dollar first prize, along with added prize money that Ladbrokes tosses in.

WSOP EUROPE
Sept. 6th-15th
London, UK

Sept. 6th - H.O.R.S.E. (Event 1)
£2,500 buy-in

Sept. 8th - Pot Limit Omaha (Event 2)
£5,000 buy-in

Sept. 10th - Main Event, No Limit Hold ‘Em
£10,000 buy-in

The inaugural season of WSOP Europe gets underway in early September.  As you can see from their schedule, there won’t be nearly as many events as the US version, but that is fine by me.  They took the most important events and exported them.  As the casinos in Europe are much smaller than those in Vegas, the events will be spread over 3 different venues, all in central London, with the Main Event condensing into one after day 3.

MILLION DOLLAR CASH GAME
$100,000 minimum buy-in
Sept. 18th-19th
London, UK

This is the second year that the Million Dollar Cash Game will be running, and my first year being involved.  While it was at the Fifty Casino last year, this year they’ll be shooting in a studio in central London.  Last year saw some big pots trade between the hands of Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Mike Matusow, Tony G, and others.
